VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — A pedestrian was fatally struck Tuesday by a car in Van Nuys, police said.
The unidentified woman was struck near Victory and Van Nuys boulevards at about 6 a.m., Los Angeles police Officer Liliana Preciado said. She died at the scene.
Police did not say whether the crash was a hit-and-run.
The circumstances of the woman’s death are under investigation.
